This week, the UEFA Executive Committee meets in Hvar, Croatia ahead of the European Club Association (ECA) General Assembly in Istanbul, Turkey. TThese conferences offer clubs and managers the opportunity to explore ways to promote football.
As stated in the publication, the goal is for the best Champions League games to take place outside of Europe, with group games being the focus first.
In fact, Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser Al Khelaifi, also President of the ECA and a member of UEFA’s Executive Committee, is among the ardent supporters of the proposal.
