BELLINGHAM: City took 15 minutes to beat Borussia Dortmund
Jude Bellingham recorded his team’s performance in the Champions League 2nd round in the away game against Manchester “citizens” (1:2). But according to the young Brit, the “bumblebees” at Etihad only oiled the last 15 minutes of the match, which was quite enough for the home team to win.
“It’s hard to find positive right now. I am devastated. We were 15 minutes away from success, but that’s how football is against the strongest teams. It is important that we come to our minds by the weekend.
That’s how great teams play. You don’t let them breathe and they suddenly turn the score in their favor. Haaland isn’t always in the game, but give him a break and he’ll score. This game was not a game where it was possible to have the ball often and for a long time. We knew we would be without him for most of the game. We were great for 75 minutes, but City had enough time to crush us,” said Bellingham.
As you know, Borussia Dortmund plans to sell 19-year-old Jude Bellingham next summer.
