Victoria coach: ‘Bayern Champions League favorite’
Victoria Pilsen’s head coach Michal Bilek shared his expectations for the Champions League third round match against Bayern (4 October 19:45):
“We have a game against a very difficult opponent. This is the main favorite of the Champions League. It is difficult to play with such a team, but we will not change anything. Let’s do a compact defense and a quick counterattack. Attack the standards and trust them.
Bayern has indeed lost several times in the Bundesliga. but all matches were similar. He did a great job defending the opponents, the goalkeepers saved, Bayern were unlucky. We must learn from this experience. Müller and Kimmich have coronavirus, but this is not a huge loss for Bayern.
There are equivalent substitutions and we do not expect the Munich team to be significantly weaker. It will be an extremely difficult game, but Bayern has stumbled a few times this season.”
