Andriy VORBEY: “Why isn’t Shakhtar trying to beat Real Madrid?”

Former striker of Shakhtar Donetsk and the national team of Ukraine Andriy Vorobei gave a forecast for the development of events in the upcoming match of the 3rd round of the Champions League Real Madrid – Shakhtar.

“We all look at things realistically and understand very well that Real Madrid has been a very strong team for two years in a row and it is very difficult to play against them. Yes, Real Madrid drew 1-1 with Osasuna in La Liga over the weekend. But there were many conditions: Real did not take a penalty and Osasuna played well and Ancelotti changed the squad because we had a tight match schedule ahead of us. This result is not an indication. So overall it will be difficult for Shakhtar to play against Madrid.
