Eintracht – Tottenham 0: 0: All to zero in Frankfurt
Eintracht were able to hold off Tottenham and the 0-0 draw missed Marseille’s Champions League Group 4 gift.
Marseille gave a gift unity and Tottenham, chasing the Champions League Group 4 championship, but in the end the two teams failed to “break away” from it. 0-0 in the game of the 3rd match day in Frankfurt.
The Londoners came onto the pitch hotter and missed some good moments with Harry Kane and Heung Min Son. Their partnerships didn’t result in a goal while Ivan Perisic countered an attempt and went wide of the post.
Hugo Lloris was not unscathed, neutralizing the efforts of Ansgar Knauf and Jesper Linstrom from good position until the game entered its final half-hour, where changes from the two managers slowed the pace and didn’t help the search for the winning goal.
