Champions League
Barcelona set a negative record in the Champions League with the defeat at “Meatsa”.
Not only did Barcelona lose to Inter Milan in Milan, they also registered a negative record in their Champions League history, remaining without a goal for the third consecutive away game.
Barcelona had great chances to leave “Meatsa” with a positive result against Inter on Tuesday evening (04/10), but in the final they were defeated 0-1 by Tsalhanoglou’s goal. As if their second defeat in the first three Champions League group games (after Bayern’s 2-0 in Munich) wasn’t enough, it was also combined with a negative record in Blaugrana history.
This is linked to their attacking problems away from the Camp Nou in their recent games, with Barca now going on a run of three away Champions League games without a goal, their worst streak in the history of the competition.
The 3 away series without a goal in the Champions League:
- 08/12/21 Bayern 3-0 Barcelona
- 09/13/22 Bayern 2-0 Barcelona
- 04/10/22 Inter-Barcelona 1-0
