Antonio Riediger didn’t play in Real’s game against Shakhtar but the sight whetted his appetite as the camera caught him leaving the Bernabeu with a pizza box.
Real Madrid defeated Shakhtar 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu in the third group stage of the Champions League to make it 3 from 3. Antonio Riediger did not play but watched from the bench.
The sight made the 29-year-old German hungry, of course, and he left the field with a pizza box in his hand. In fact, he didn’t even wait to get into the carriage, but ate as he walked with the box open.
After games, it is common for soccer players to often eat pizza to regain their strength it is also a form of reward.
