Tottenham – Eintracht 3: 2: Sean and Kane sent it to the top
Tottenham Hotspur clinched victory in the big duel against Eintracht and sent them 3-2 to the top of the 4th group of the Champions League.
Tottenham achieved a difficult win with an upset against them unity and 3-2 Heung Min Son’s two goals and Harry Kane’s penalty sent them to the top 4th group of the Champions League after the 4th matchday.
The 0-0 draw in last week’s game looked like a magical picture as the Londoners created plenty of chances and hoped to retaliate at home. However, the Germans disagreed and in a strange counterattack in the 14th minute, the ball reached Daichi Kamada to make it 1-0.
The ‘cold’ woke up Antonio Conte’s players, who had turned things upside down in the next 20 minutes. Kane’s partnership with Sean made the South Korean 1-1 and in the 28th minute the Englishman was knocked down in the box and took the penalty to make it 2-1. The “cherry” came in the 36th minute when Sean made it 3-1 with a wonderful volley.
Tottenham continued to miss chances and Oliver Glasner’s men looked disheartened after the home side’s return. Tuta’s dismissal with two yellow cards in the 57th and 59th made her task even more difficult.
But they didn’t give up and in the 87th minute Farid Alidu reduced the lead to 3:2 and brought the German team back into play. Minutes later Tottenham won another penalty but this time Kane took it too high. He wasn’t penalized as 3-2 should be the final score.
