Spalletti on Mourinho: ‘I don’t listen to what other people say’
Luciano Spalletti made it clear that Napoli won’t underestimate Rangers and will pursue the three points with a goal of claiming first place in Group 1 of the Champions League, while keeping a few words about Mourinho’s ‘mistakes’ after the Roma game.
Napoli are first in Serie A and Group 1 of the Champions League (with 4 wins from as many games) and that fact has caused an uproar in their world, although Luciano Spalletti is keeping a low profile ahead of the game with Rangers “Diego Maradona” clarifies that there is no such thing as an easy game.
“It’s very important to win against Rangers to make first place more secure. We will never underestimate games at this level because that would mean we don’t have the DNA of the winners.
Most likely we will make 3 to 4 changes, but they are made to keep the balance in terms of tactics and technique that must always be present on the field to win games
Van Bronkhorst is a senior coach. In the Ibrox game against Liverpool, they took the lead and finished the first half 1-1 while having chances to lead 2-1.
No one should be underestimated at this event”he stressed about the upcoming game to refer to the previous one.
The reason for Napoli’s huge 1-0 win over Roma at the Olimpico, in which Jose Mourinho congratulated Spalletti’s team but at the same time said they didn’t deserve it to ‘commit’ the Partenopei coach to give a meaningful answer:
“Mourinho? Honestly I don’t listen to what others say and it’s safe to say I don’t answer anyone with their story. If he says something, I have to understand that he doesn’t mean anything else. If we had earned less.” or more than Roma the victory;
It’s true, we’re first in the league and in the Champions League and we owe that to our world. That doesn’t mean we’re always superior on the field, we have a duty to try, but that doesn’t mean we’ll always be successful. So far we’re happy with what we’re doing.”
