Chelsea – Dynamo 2-1: Throw the Croats out of Europe
Chelsea had already qualified for the knockout rounds of the Champions League as leaders in Group 5, but were not awarded to Dynamo and were knocked out of Europe 2-1 at “Stamford Bridge”.
At “Stamford Bridge” and with it Chelsea fought not only so indifferently 2-1 opposite to Dynamo Zagreb for his 6th matchday 5th group the Champions League, the Croatians left Europe.
Ande Cacic’s side took the lead through Bruno Petkovic in the 7th minute and tried to claim the miracle while waiting for Salzburg’s defeat in Milan.
However, the “Blues” did not have the same intention. Raheem Sterling equalized in the 18th minute and Denis Zakaria broke through in the 30th minute after another team effort.
The 1st half was… bad for the English, who “bombed” Dominic Livakovic’s goal in the 2nd half. The missed shot prevented a third goal, but the 2-1 lead made fans in London happy.
