Arnold: ‘City are a great side but they haven’t won a Premier League or Champions League like us’
Trent Alexander-Arnold accused Manchester City of still not winning the Champions League despite winning the Premier League but said Liverpool should end the season with at least one title.
Alexander – Arnold slammed Jurgen Klopp in the pre-match press conference between Liverpool and Inter ahead of the ’16’ stage of the Champions League.
Asked if the Reds should win more trophies, the England full-back stressed that his team have won the most important trophies, unlike Manchester City who haven’t yet managed to win the ‘big-eared trophy’ to win.
“We’re not disappointed that we didn’t win enough trophies because what we won is the biggest and best we can get.
I don’t want to throw a nail but you see her wonderful team and she failed to win the Champions League. They’ve won the Premier League a couple of times but haven’t won the Champions League. We’ve both won in recent years and that shows we can do it at both events“.
