Paris – Real: The two unbearable negative performances of the Spaniards that led to the defeat

Real Madrid broke two negative records in the game against Paris, which makes it seem impossible not to lose the match at the Parc des Princes.

Real had one of their worst performances in the Champions League round of 16, as reflected in Opta’s reporting in the Park de Prince game against Paris.

A 1-0 defeat by a Killian Ebape goal in the 4th minute of delays will keep the Meringues in the qualifying round, but not if they appear even.

The only three finals (with xG just 0.1 compared to 1.9 for the French) during the race is a negative Madrid record from the 2003-2004 season when Opta started covering the tournament. None of his finals were correct, which happened again at the institution in the last 20 years for Real, in September 2019 in the 3-0 loss to … Paris at the “Parc des Princes”.

Paris had 21 finals and so the 18 difference is also a negative record for Real in the same period.

Thibaut Courtois’ interventions were the only positive thing about the meringues from that game.
