The condition for Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to the Champions League with Newcastle
According to Marca, Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract includes a clause for his return to the Premier League and Champions League should Newcastle play there in the 2023/24 season.
A landmark clause in Al Nasr’s deal with Cristiano Ronaldo has been unveiled by Marca as the Portuguese star is expected to be presented by the Saudi Arabian club on Tuesday.
As reported by the Spanish website, the deal signed by Ronaldo includes a special clause that will allow him to play the 2023-24 season on loan at Newcastle if the Magpies can compete in the Champions League in the new season.
We should note that Newcastle are also a team Saudi-owned, of course, like Al Nasr, and that’s why this condition could be implemented in Ronaldo’s contract.
And we should also point out that now that Howe’s side sit 3rd in the Premier League, this isn’t difficult.
