Gareth Bale retired from active duty at the age of 33, leaving behind some great goals in football. One of them was the incredible header he scored against Liverpool in the 2018 Champions League final.

THE Gareth Bale ended his football career at the age of 33. The Welsh star has won five Champions Leagues and three Spanish leagues, among others, while captaining Wales at Euro 2016 as they finished fourth.

Bale will go down in history as a footballer with amazing speed but also with some beautiful goals. He managed one of them on the night of May 26, 2018 in the Champions League final in Kyiv, where Real Madrid won the 13th trophy in their history.

This incredible goal by Bale even drove Zinedine Zidane crazy who scored a number of incredible goals as a footballer, even in the Champions League final.

Marcelo crossed from the left and Bale sent the ball in with an unlikely backscissor in the 64th minute. Of course, that wasn’t the only goal he scored in the game, as in the 83rd minute he ‘forced’ Karius to make another tragic error with a long-range shot, sealing the Merengues’ victory.
