Salzburg reports 15 coronavirus cases
Salzburg announced that 15 people from both the squad and the club’s other posts have tested positive for the corona virus.
Salzburg’s joy at the recent positive results was abruptly stopped after the announcement of 15 coronavirus cases after the team’s last tests.
The Austrians are second in the Austrian Bundesliga after beating Bayern 1-1 in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 and beating Wolfsburg 2-0.
According to the announcement, the club immediately took the necessary measures provided for in the protocol, canceled two training sessions and replaced them with distance training.
At this point, the names of those affected or how many of them are footballers have not been released.
The team’s next game is on Sunday away at LASK, the second game at FC Bayern in Munich will take place on March 8th.
