Bayern legend Lothar Matthäus is confident that the German champions will beat PSG in the 1/8 final of the Champions League:

Bayern will advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League, beating PSG.

If you’ve been following the PSG-related news for the past few weeks, you understand that Bayern shouldn’t have to worry at all. Neither Gnabry, nor Manuel Neuer, nor the ski trip can keep up with what is happening around Parisians.

Messi, Neymar and their teammates were eliminated from the French Cup, losing to their hated rivals Marseille. An important match was lost with Monaco in the championship. There is also talk around Neymar, Mbappe is crippled.

Compared to them, Bayern is at the top. Three wins in a row, confident transition to the next round of the Cup, the leaders of the Bundesliga.

PSG may shine, but they’re also constantly falling apart. I think Bayern is stronger, tidier, faster and more ambitious.

But this is true for both teams: All the worries and problems that have arisen in the last weeks are completely forgotten at the starting whistle.
