With Salah, Van Dijk and Bejcetic, Liverpool will face Real for the first time
Jurgen Klopp announced the eleven he will field Liverpool in the first game against Real for the “16” of the Champions League. With Salah in attack, Bejcetic in the axis and Van Dijk in defence.
Liverpool are counting down to their first Champions League knockout tie against Real Madrid in the round of 16 of Europe’s top club competition, with Jurgen Klopp announcing his line-up for the Reds.
Alisson will be in goal, with Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk and Robertson forming the back four, with Bejcetic, Henderson and Fabinho in the middle and Salah, Nunes and Hakpo in the England team’s line impact.
The Germany coach kept the exact same eleven he picked in last Saturday’s 2-0 away win against Newcastle and the Merseyside side went into the game in high spirits.
Because while they have only managed one win in their first seven games in all competitions in 2023, they are currently coming back to wins against Everton and Newcastle, with the Reds seeing the games against Real as a chance to get revenge on the finals they lost in 2018 and 2022 and that Quarter-final out 2021.
