Ebape: “Champions League was a big goal, we failed”
A day after being painfully banned from continuing the Champions League, while acknowledging that Paris had failed in the tournament this year, Killian Ebape sent a message that the season was not yet over.
Killian Ebape was Paris’ best player by far in the two big dates with Real for the Champions League round of 16, but that wasn’t enough for Mauricio Pochettino’s side to qualify for the quarter-finals after a disastrous half-hour at the Bernabeu to take the lead before being painfully eliminated by Karim Benzema’s hat-trick.
For his part, the Frenchman, who is a hot meringue ahead of the new season, did not want to comment after the end of the game, but decided the next day (10/3) to place a post on his personal account on Instagram.
“Tough times. The Champions League was a big one Aim, we failed. The season is not over and whatever happens to us we will remain united and determined until the last game of the season.
We would like to thank the fans who support us and have come for us. “This is Paris.” wrote the 23-year-old French striker.
