Valbouena for Paris: “What she has suffered is unacceptable, she has not learned from her mistakes for five years”
Hosted by French radio station RMC, Mathieu Valbouena was not handed over to Paris after the painful Champions League exclusion, stressing that he is repeating mistakes that cost them in the past.
Paris Saint-Germain raised their hands and rolled their eyes at the Bernabeu, knowing that the 3-1 loss to Real that has ruled them out of the Champions League and the dust that has been raised since Wednesday night has not yet settled.
Both Mauricio Pochettino and several of his players were harshly criticized for their performances in the final half-hour of the game that allowed the Merengues to cause a great deal of excitement, with Mathieu Valbouena being one of those who didn’t hesitate to involve the Parisians to throw violent speeches.
“For five years, Paris has not learned from its mistakes and is getting bigger every year. This is unacceptable. I do not understand that. Shame couldn’t go any further,” he said. The Olympiacos winger speaks on his home country’s radio station “RMC” to add in reference to the Paris Waterloo in the Spanish capital:
“Nobody could believe what was about to happen. The first game was a reference point for his terrible pace, while Paris was in control in the first part of the rematch, finding countless empty spaces with Ebape in one-on-ones.
I really wondered how Real could score. Then something happened against the flow of the game with Donaroma’s mistake and then the sea took them all away. It is impressive how the ship from Paris sank”
