Champions League: The panorama of the quarterfinals

Manchester City and Inter have taken a decisive step towards qualifying from the quarter-finals of the Champions League after victories and by a margin against Bayern and Benfica respectively.

The ‘Bürger’ beat Bayern 3-0 in England and have the upper hand for the second leg in Munich, while the Nerazzurri prevailed 2-0 in Lisbon despite the efforts of Odysseus Vlachodimos.

The second legs will be played next week and will decide the last tickets for the semi-finals, after Milan-Napoli and Real-Chelsea, who will play the first leg on Wednesday and the second leg next Tuesday.
