Villarreal trolled MARCA who were unprepared for their qualification
Villarreal trolled MARCA on Twitter when they placed the ‘yellow submarine’ mark on Juventus’ mark in the Spanish midfielder’s post for the last 16 without completely hiding it.
Villarreal achieved an epic qualification at Juventus headquarters as they prevailed 3-0 in Italy and checked their ticket to the Champions League quarter-finals.
The “yellow submarine” was sailing in a sea of joy and it was evident on their social media as well. They even trolled the electronic version of the Spanish newspaper MARCA, which in its article on the finalists of the quarter-finals put the Villarreal brand above that of Juventus, without being able to completely hide it.
Villarreal republished their post and wrote: ‘You don’t trust the plan Marca friends’, in good humor.
