Haaland: “I’m here to achieve something that City has never done before”
Erling Haaland has stressed ahead of the Champions League final with Inter that his goal is to help the side achieve something they haven’t achieved yet, which is to win the highest competition trophy.
Erling Haaland, with 52 goals in 52 games this season, is one of the biggest obstacles and problems Inter will have to overcome if they want to be crowned European champions at the end of the night.
Ahead of the Champions League final (06/10, 10:00 p.m., COSMOTE SPORT 1 HD, MEGA, LIVE by Sportish), the Norwegian star stressed that his goal is to help Manchester City achieve what they had never done before.
“You say it yourself and it’s true: City won the Premier League without me, won every trophy without me. I’m here to try to do something the club has never done before and I’ll do my best.” Of course I feel pressure. I would be lying if I said I didn’t feel it.
I don’t read anything because I think I would go insane if I read everything they write. said Halland, adding:
“I didn’t expect to score so many goals but I missed a lot of chances so I could have scored more goals. That’s the truth.”
