With Dinamo Zagreb or Astana in the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League, AEK

AEK fans’ fears were put to an end after the draw for the third qualifying round of the Champions League took place on Monday, when the Greece double met either Dinamo Zagreb or Astana.

Basically, Matias Almeida’s team meets the one of the two teams that prevails in a direct duel in the second qualifying round AEK’s first meeting in the Champions League third qualifying round is set to take place on August 8th or 9th and the second leg is scheduled for the 15th of the same month.

The first leg will be played on August 8th or 9th in the OPAP Arena, the second leg on the 15th in Croatia or Kazakhstan. It is noted that should Dinamo Zagreb get the qualifying ticket against Astana and AEK subsequently eliminate the Croatians, they will enter the Champions League playoffs as a strong team.
