With Marseille, Panathinaikos are in the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League if they pass Dnipro
Marseille are the team Panathinaikos will face in the Champions League third qualifying round if they clear the Dnipro Hurdle, according to Monday afternoon’s draw in Nyon.
Strong and ambitious Marseille will be the next obstacle for Panathinaikos on their way to the Champions League play-offs and with them the gold-bearing groups of Europe’s top club competition.
On Monday afternoon (247 hours) the draw for the third qualifying round of the Champions League took place in Nyon, with the Greens “mingling” with Marseille, with the necessary condition, of course, that they had first eliminated the Ukrainian Dnipro second qualifying round ((July 25 the first game in Kozice – August 1 the second game in Leoforo).
It is noted that the The first game is scheduled to take place on August 8th or 9th (Panathinaikos will be the home team if Dnipro clears the hurdle) and the second leg on August 15th.
