Tsimikas celebrated the winner’s hug with Dias and kissed Fambino on the beaten head
In the final of the game against Benfica, Klopp’s players celebrated 3-1 on the pitch. TV cameras caught Tsimikas hugging Dias and Fambino, even kissing the latter on the head.
Benfica briefly struggled in the second half against Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp’s Reds dominating Odysseas Vlachodimos’ side and achieving dominance fairly, 3-1 a crystal-clear lead to qualify for Champions League Four.
After the referee’s final whistle, the Merseyside side’s players, as expected, celebrated intensely for the big ‘double’ in the Portuguese capital, with TV cameras capturing Costas Tsimikas (left on the bench) with a warm F and the scorer of the Reds’ third goal, Luis Dias .
In fact, in addition to hugging Fambino, the international also kissed the Brazilian midfielder on the head, in the spot where he injured himself just minutes earlier, causing people on the bench to worry about his possible injury.
