Liverpool impressed for another game in 2022 and Benfica failed to stop their frenetic course on all fronts, with Jurgen Klopp’s Reds prevailing 3-1 between the two teams in the first quarter-final of the Champions League, becoming all-time favorites for the semi-finals to qualify.
Indeed, with this success, the Reds can be proud of a great record they have set as the Merseyside team have gone on to eight straight away wins in all competitions for the first time in their history.

It is worth noting that they managed five straight away wins in the Champions League/Champions League (after those against Porto, Atletico, Milan and Inter this season), equaling their record since 1984.
