Thomas Tuchel expressed his disappointment with Chelsea’s performance at Real Madrid and the 3-1 defeat and feels that with such an image, the Blues are unlucky at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Thomas Tuhel expressed his disappointment at the press conference following the match between Chelsea and Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu and the Blues’ 3-1 defeat in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

The German coach was asked whether he would trust his team to be lucky in the second leg and said no, especially since this image still persists after the national team break.

Chelsea suffered a second home defeat after a 4-1 draw with Brentford, with Karim Benzema rampaging on the pitch and scoring a hat-trick. When asked if he sees any chances of tipping the score in the second match, Tuhel said succinctly: “No…”.

He went on to say: “Why? Because we need to find our style again, I don’t know where he went after the break for the national teams. What we did was a second-half replay with Brentford. We are very far from our level “Everything is required. You can’t ask us to play well at this level.”

Tuhel also said: “I’m not worried, it’s a football game. I worry that we’ve had our worst half since we came here and we’re far from our level. It’s very difficult to find anything positive about this game.”
