Italy’s Orsato officiates in Panathinaikos’ crucial rematch against Braga in OAKA
UEFA has announced that Italy’s Daniele Orsato has been appointed to referee Panathinaikos’ second leg against Braga at OAKA on Tuesday (29/8) as part of the Champions League play-offs.
UEFA has nominated Italian Daniele Orsato for the second game of Panathinaikos against Braga (29 August, 10:00 p.m., COSMOTE SPORT 2 HD and LIVE Sportish) at OAKA for the Champions League playoffs.
His assistants will be his compatriots Ciro Carbone and Alessandro Gialatini, while Italy’s Marco di Bello has been named fourth.
Orsato has refereed games for Greek teams in the past. In particular, he oversaw Olympiacos Piraeus – Marseille in 2020 in the Champions League groups and the match between PAOK and Krasnodar in the qualifying round of top club competition.
