Newcastle: A 57-year-old fan stabbed to death in Milan is in a stable condition
A 57-year-old Newcastle fan was reportedly stabbed in Milan and hospitalized in a stable condition.
Thousands of Newcastle fans traveled to Milan ahead of their team’s game against AC Milan on Tuesday afternoon (September 19th, 7:45 p.m.).
However, things spiraled out of control on Monday evening. A 57-year-old friend of the England team was reportedly attacked by 7-8 people.
While he was on the ground, he was stabbed in the back and arms. Police attended the scene and the Newcastle fan was taken to hospital.
His condition is considered stable and his family is flying to Milan to be by his side.
