Provendel acted as a striker and scored 1-1 for Lazio against Atlético with a header in the 90+5 minute on the first matchday of the Champions League.
The final of the Olympic Games was dramatic. Lazio tied the game against Atletico with a buzzer beater at 90+5. Luis Alberto stormed into the penalty area and the Italian goalkeeper Ivan Provendel, who was left in the penalty area after a corner, headed Oblak into the goal to make it 1-1.
This is the goalkeeper’s sixth goal in the Champions League, while Provendel became the fourth goalkeeper to achieve this after Boot, Bolat and Ngeama. In fact, he became the first goalkeeper to score in a game stream since 2009.
