Italy’s anti-registration. Lazio have kept a clean sheet in 20 consecutive Champions League matches
Lazio drew 1-1 with Atletico Madrid at home yesterday in the first round of the Champions League. While everyone was amazed by Lazio’s goalkeeper Ivan Provedel’s last minute decisive goal, it was overshadowed by Lazio conceding at least one goal in their 20th consecutive Champions League match.
This is an anti-record in Italy. The previous one belonged to another capital club, Roma, which lost 19 matches in a row.
Lazio last kept a clean sheet in a match against Beşiktaş in 2003 (2-0 win).
20 – Lazio have conceded a goal in their last 20 matches #UCL matches (since 2-0 win against Beşiktaş in 2003); This became the longest streak by an Italian team without conceding a goal in the tournament (surpassed by Roma on 19). Darned.#LazioAtleticoMadrid
