Enrique: “I would pay to see Dembele”
Luis Enrique defended Ousmane Dembele, who didn’t have a perfect Paris debut against Dortmund.
THE Paris almost achieved victory against them with the engines switched off Dortmund in Paris for the premiere 6th group from Champions League. The 2:0 of the French in the “Parc de Prince” puts them at the head of the “Group of Death” and the German traffic jams and without a good first impression.
Although Ousmane Dembele didn’t score in this match, his manager praised him in the post-match press conference.
Enrique felt the need to defend the 26-year-old Frenchman, who did not stop his actions on the pitch when he scored a goal.
“If I were a fan of a team, I would happily pay the ticket to see Ousmane Dembele. He is a completely different player. He can fail three times and then keep trying.”
He is a player who makes magic. Maybe he can’t wait to score his first goal now, but when he stops wanting to, he’ll score a lot of goals. It’s a process that all strikers go through. For any coach to have a player of this level is a miracle.”
