Big double win for Real against Napoli in the derby at the top of the third group

Real won the third group derby against Napoli in Italy with a 3-2 win in a very nice game at “Diego Armando Maradona”.

The Spaniards had another big day with Bellingham having an assist and a goal, but it took a lucky and very powerful shot from Valverde and the help of Meret to put the ball in the net for Napoli to make it 3-2 Final score achieved and a victory celebrated considerable prevalence.

Carlos Ancelotti’s team finished second of two in the group and remains sole first with six points. The game had five goals, goal posts, missed chances and tension between the players of the two teams who fought until the end for victory as neither seemed to be satisfied with a draw.

It was Napoli who opened the scoring in the 19th minute through Estigard as the two Italian centre-backs pushed their way through the Real defence. Natan took the header from a corner from the left, which hit the post for Estiggard and made the final score 1-0 with a second header.

Real rolled over in seven minutes

Real managed to turn things around in seven minutes. First in the 27th minute, Bellingham stole the ball on the left, broke into the penalty area, passed to Vinicius and the Brazilian equalized for the Spaniards from a tight angle.

In the 34th minute, Bellingham demanded and received the ball in midfield, made a frontal attack, entered the Napoli penalty area, switched foot and beat Merrett with the right side to make it 2-1 for the Queen.

Napoli equalized and Real scored the winning goal

In the 51st minute, Napoli won a penalty through VAR with an attempt by Osimen and Nacho. It was Zielinski, and not one of Kvarachelia or Osimen, who took the penalty as the Pole beat Kepa to make it 2-2 for the Italians in the 54th minute.

Three minutes later, Napoli had two finals in one minute and caused the surprise. First, Kvaratshelia shot from outside the penalty area to the outside of the goal, while in the same minute Georgianos passed to Zielinski, who took the powerful shot while Kepa parried the ball.

Real took the lead again in the 78th minute. After a Modric corner the ball found its way to Valverde who fired a powerful shot from outside the penalty area, the ball hit a Napoli player, Meret’s hand in his attempt to clear it, the Napoli post and then his back, Meret, and landed in the net.
