This is UEFA’s fine to AEK for their Champions League qualifiers at the OPAP Arena

AEK was fined by UEFA for its home Champions League qualifying games against Dinamo Zagreb and Antwerp.

UEFA published on its website the fines it had imposed on the teams for the qualifying matches of European competitions and also imposed fines on AEK, among others.

The Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body of the European Football Association has imposed a fine for the Union’s two home games in the third qualifying round and in the Champions League playoffs.

The game against Dinamo cost the champions 13,500 euros, while the game against Antwerp cost a total of 17,000 euros.

AEK – Dinamo Zagreb

  • Closure of runways on platforms – fine of 4,000 euros
  • Throwing objects – fine of 1,500 euros
  • Laser use – 8,000 euros fine
  • Delayed start (Mr. Matias Almeida) – Warning

AEK – Antwerp

  • Poor control and/or search for spectators, entry of fans without a ticket – €5,000 fine
  • Laser use – 8,000
  • Blocking runways on platforms – 4,000 euros
