Champions League: The placement in the Olympiakos group and the game – final with Youg
After the defeat against Pro Reko, Olympiacos will face Youg away on the next matchday in a game with the character of a final qualification for the next phase.
Olympiacos looked Pro Reco in the eye but couldn’t leave Italy with a points lead and so the Italian team appears to have secured first place in the group.
The Red-Whites and Youg are fighting for second place, which will enable them to qualify for the next phase, with the game between the two teams on the next matchday having the character of a final.
In the first round match, Olympiacos won 16-15 on penalties, giving Youg the advantage in the event of a clear win.
Of course, if Olympiacos win either in regular time or on penalties, they will have taken a big step towards qualification.
We remind you that the team scoring system has changed. Clear wins give three points, the winning team in the penalty shootout gets two and the losing team gets one.
