More than 100 Sociedad fans have become Benfica members so they can experience their favorite team up close.
Sociedad fans’ eagerness to cheer on their favorite team made them particularly inventive ahead of the game against Benfica.
The tickets that the Portuguese had given to the Spanish team were sold out. Therefore, some tried to find another way to enter the field.
More than 100 fans paid 20 euros for membership in the “Eagle” and another 30 euros for tickets.
Except things didn’t go as planned. Benfica people have identified the Spanish fans and canceled the tickets booked for the game next Tuesday (October 24, 10 p.m.).
Of course, there were complaints that he did not refund Spanish fans the money corresponding to their registration at the club, but only the money related to the ticket for the match.
