Fans are divided over whether Copenhagen’s penalty against Manchester United in the Champions League on Tuesday should have been saved after new footage emerged.

Although the save was excellent, some fans doubted that Onan’s foot was on the line when the shot was taken. According to the rules, when the ball is kicked, “the goalkeeper must have at least part of his foot touching the goal line and be in line with or behind the goal line.” When looking from behind the goal, it is not clear whether the Cameroonian goalkeeper’s foot is on the line or not. Fans’ opinions differed.
Onana is 100% out of his line when the ball is kicked.

Other fans showed footage of United players running into the penalty area before Larsson’s shot, although Copenhagen players also appeared to be inside the penalty area.
