Shakhtar beat Barcelona 1-0 after an implausible and illogical first half
On November 7, Hamburg will host the Champions League 4th round match between Shakhtar Donetsk and Barcelona.
The teams completed the first half of the match. Shakhtar won with a score of 1:0 with the goal scored by Daniil Sikan in the 40th minute.
According to the results of the first 45 minutes of the match, Shakhtar players had 41% of the ball, while the Catalans had 59% of the ball.
At the same time, the Donetsk team hit Blaugrana’s goal 4 times (2 on target), and Barcelona players threatened Shakhtar’s goal twice (not the only targeted shot).
While Pitmen scored a corner in the first half, the Catalans could not score a corner. Shakhtar players twice found themselves in an offside position, while their opponents never found themselves in an offside position.
