Ukraine has moved ahead of Greece in the UEFA rankings
Shakhtar’s victory over Barcelona put paid to Greece’s plans to climb two places in the UEFA rankings.
Shakhtar beat Barcelona 1-0 in the Champions League, giving Ukraine a boost in their battle to stay in the UEFA rankings.
The gap with Greece increased by 0.400 points, with the Ukrainians remaining in 17th place but now feeling more confident.
The gap to 19th place increased to 0.875 points, with Greece just above with 26.125 points and Israel’s barrier (26.375 points).
However, on Thursday, the four representatives of our country will be able to make up for the difference with Ukraine and Israel, since each win will bring 0.400 points, and each draw will bring 0.200 points.
