Real 3-0 Braga: Brazilian magic and qualification for the round of 16 of the Champions League
After the 3-0 win over Braga at the Santiago Bernabeu, Real qualified from the 3rd group of the Champions League.
Real found what they needed in the “Santiago Bernabeu” against Braga 3-0 on matchday 4 sent them into the knockout round of the Champions League.
The Portuguese had a chance to take the lead in the 6th minute and turn the game on its head, but Andrei Lunin (who was playing in the warm-up due to Kepa’s injury) saved Alvaro Jalo’s penalty.
The first half had a lot of pace and was divided, Braga also had chances, but Brahim Diath developed into a star player. He initially sent the ball into the net, but the goal did not count after an offside check and in the 27th minute he scored a normal goal, which he celebrated with a signal to…control!
Vinicius, who provided the assist for the Spaniard’s goal, scored in the 58th minute, and three minutes later Rodrigo did the same (with an assist from Vinicius), allowing the two international strikers to increase their tally to 17 goals, including Roberto Carlos at the helm of the Brazilian from Real surpassed goalscorers in the establishment.
With 3-0 in the bag and Braga not coming out of the dressing room in the second half, Real easily secured victory and at the same time qualification for the knockout rounds.
