Footballers playing in the Champions League have been included in a list based on their social media earnings, with Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham outside the top five.

Japan-101 conducted a study examining which players competing in the Champions League made the most money from Instagram.

Using the Instagram Influencer Earnings Calculator, they analyzed the number of followers to determine how much each of them could earn per sponsored social media post.

Kylian Mbappe is in first place and appears to earn €87,000 per post. In second place is Sergio Ramos, who plays for Sevilla on 55,000 euros per post. The Spanish defender needs 242 posts to reach his annual football salary.

The list of ten athletes is completed by Paul Pogba, Toni Kroos, Griezmann, Haaland, Lewandowski, Luka Modric, Kevin De Bruyne and Casemiro.
