PSV made a comeback in the match against Sevilla, losing the Champions League play-offs
In the fifth round of the Champions League group stage, Sevilla hosted PSV at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pisjuan.
The hosts of the field were slightly more competitive to the guests in the first half, and at the beginning of the second they managed to increase their lead to a difference of two goals scored. The situation on the field was radically changed by Ocampos winning via two last cards.
From the very beginning, Saibari quickly defeated PSV, then Gudel scored a goal at Vlasna, equalizing the rakhunok. Pepi became the hero for the guests, who was the leader on the field, overcame the substitutes and ultimately won the match for PSV striker.
This defeat cost Sevilla theoretical chances of a place in the 1/8 finals of the Champions League, and PSV secured their European Cup spring.
