Arsenal break two England records against Lens

Arsenal won a spectacular victory over Lens (6:0), which allowed Arsenal not only to advance to the Champions League play-offs, but also to become the winners of Group B ahead of schedule.

Mikel Arteta’s team also made history. According to Opta, this 6-0 victory over Lens is the biggest win by an English team against a French team in European cup history.

Arsenal also became the first English team to lead by five or more goals against their opponents in the first half.
