Benfica immediately grabbed a ticket for the European League from Salzburg with Trubin
As part of the sixth round of the UEFA Champions League group stage, Quartet D teamed up with Austria’s Salzburg and Lisbon’s Benfica to determine the winner of the third meeting and a ticket to the European League.
To finish in third place, it was enough for Salzburg not to lose Benfica two more goals, but Cabral’s goal was compensated until the other half, setting a score of 3:1 on the Eagles’ score.
