Inter Milan previously played a match against Real Sociedad in the remaining match of the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.

After the match, the head coach of the “Snake” Simone Inzaghi commented on the performance of the powerful team.

“We played a very good match against a very good team. We finished the group stage unbeaten, that’s why I welcomed the boys.

I know we wanted to finish first, but apart from us the group was once again devoid of competitors with similar problems. Today we didn’t concede a goal and in the first half we had two scoring chances, and another for Lautaro towards the end of the game.

We are happy with our participation in this campaign. We had some moments where we could have squandered our wealth, but we didn’t squander any of it. There was a feeling that we should hold out here, but we didn’t get it right and didn’t spend anything remotely.

The team had good control of the pitch today and perhaps we should reap more of our rewards.

Last year we settled in a different place and then went all the way to the finals. Today we wanted to overcome our fans, but we all played well as a team.

It became clear that after arranging a friend’s meeting, foaling would be more difficult for us. But at the same time I want to smile at the faces of my supporters and fans because we finished the group round undefeated and reached the 1/8 finals.

It is important that everyone wanted to overcome. “Today we could not make money, but we fought to the end,” said the Italian viconate.

Inter Milan’s next opponent will be announced on Friday, at the hour of the draw for the 1/8 finals of the UEFA Champions League.
