Pepe broke his own record with his goal against Shakhtar and becomes the oldest goalscorer in Champions League history at 40 years and 290 days.
Porto secured their second qualifying ticket to Champions League Group 8 after a 5-3 win over Shakhtar in Dragao.
Pepe made it 4-2 in the 75th minute, breaking his own record as the oldest goalscorer in the history of Europe’s top club competition.
Specifically, the Portuguese scored at the age of 40 years and 290 days. The previous “historic” goal came on November 7th against Antwerp at the age of 40 years and 254 days.
