Miner breaks record with help from Porto
8 goals were scored in Porto’s European Cup matches, in which Ukrainian clubs participated for the 6th time in history. It was also the first time that such a big loss of goals occurred in the main tournament of the Champions League.
Shakhtar also co-wrote the previous scoring record. While the Miners won the group round in the 2012/13 Champions League away to Nordsjælland with a score of 5:2, they also lost in the 2014/15 Champions League in the group round against BATE with a score of 7:0 and were defeated in the 1st round. /8 in the same season they lost to “Bavaria” in Munich – 0:7 and in the 2015/16 Champions League group stage they lost to “Real” – 3:4 at home.
