Shakhtar’s attacker was named the best player of the 6th round of the Champions League
Wenderson Galeno, who scored two goals and made two assists in the Champions League match between Portuguese Porto and Shakhtar Donetsk, was chosen as the best player of the 6th round of the group stage.
In the final vote, Porto’s striker was ahead of his rivals (Real Madrid’s Joselu, Atlético Madrid’s Lino and Benfica’s legendary winger Angel Di Maria).
UEFA commented on the voting results on the Twitter page of the Champions League: “Galeno is receiving an award for his role in the four goals scored.”
