Porto sell part of Dragao stadium after defeating Shakhtar
Portuguese FC Porto, which defeated Shakhtar (5-3) in the sixth round of the Champions League group stage, announced that some parts of its stadium have been sold.
In particular, Dragons fans are offered to buy the south goal net for 1,100 euros or the north goal net for 900 euros. Porto also offered a four-corner flag bearing the club’s emblems for sale at prices between 425 and 550 euros.
The club called this policy a new bet that allows fans to access memorabilia from historic and important matches for the team.
“If there are moments that have become part of history, then there are surely more or less ordinary objects that help us remember them all. That’s the concept behind Porto’s new bet: club memorabilia. Whether it’s a ball, a corner flag, a chair… In the end, almost everything. At various times of the year, Porto puts on sale certain items that are part of the emotional life of the club. Unique products with their own history, club authenticity and personality make them treasures, above all, for Porto fans but also for collectors. Its motto is simple: Be the happy owner of a piece of the club’s history,” commented Porto about the initiative.
Let us also remind you that Porto head coach Sergio Conceição praised Shakhtar players after his team’s victory against Pitmen.
