Thiago Alcantara has played great games for Liverpool lately and the game against Villarreal in the Champions League semi-finals was no exception.
The Spanish midfielder was the metronome of the Reds and his numbers were fantastic. According to Opta, the 31-year-old international has made 103 transfer attempts, 99 of them on target (9 long-range shots), giving him a 96.3% success rate. As can be seen from the graph, most of the transfers took place at the Villarreal Stadium and 34 in the last third, ie with several opponents in front of him trying to stop the passes.
